01 · BEYOND THE VEHICLE
Do I need a car? A transportation guide that spots heavy traffic and offers a bike share, shuttle or scooter, with credits for choosing them.

02 · SIMPLE + MAGICAL
Connecting to the car is an exciting moment. Scan the pattern on the car display and the phone pairs on the spot.

03 · RELATED YET DIFFERENT
The car and the app act as one. Pick a mode like wellbeing or expressive on the phone, and the car display follows.

MYBMW
The closer you get to the car, the less car on screen. The app shows only what matters at each distance.
Experiments

- Mapped the journey by distance first, from vehicle finder to energy report.
- Light as storytelling: bands of light carry time, motion and data.
- Fewer buttons, 14–16 pt type and bigger icons for at-a-glance use.
Final deliverable
DARK
LIGHT
- OVER 50 M
- Vehicle finder, status and charge
- UNDER 50 M
- You're close: honk or flash the lights to find it
- NEXT TO THE CAR
- Ready to unlock and go, with one minimal graphic
- INSIDE
- Next stop, playlist, climate and drive mode
- AFTER THE DRIVE
- Lock, charge and how far you drove
MYMINI
The same journey in MINI's voice: oversized serif numbers, playful shapes and green.
Experiments
- Bold color blocks turn charging into a poster: Charge Up Next Journey, Joy Ahead.
- Sculptural 3D objects tried as wildcards for empty and loading states.
Final deliverable
DARK
LIGHT
- Same states and layout as MyBMW, so both apps share one structure.
- Serif numerals and geometric charge icons give MINI its own character.
